Remote Instruction in the Creative Writing Department

To limit the potential of COVID-19 spreading within our local community, President Mahoney has announced that San Francisco State University will suspend all face-to-face instruction for the remainder of the Spring 2020 semester. All classes in the Creative Writing Department have remote learning plans in place, and we are working hard to ensure that all students will have the opportunity to complete their coursework. For any questions about the coursework, students should reach out to their instructor by email. Contact information can be found here.

This is an extraordinary moment. We are moving our entire campus online in a very short period of time. By working together we will all ensure that teaching and learning will continue in our program.

The Creative Writing Department Office

Our Office Staff will continue their work remotely. If you need to contact us, please write design@sfsu.edu. If you have hard-copy forms or petitions that need to be submitted, please send the petition (along with supporting documentation) to kkwid@sfsu.edu directly from your SFSU email address only. Include the name of your advisor and we will route your paperwork through the school and then to university offices.

Please send all inquiries to the Department via email until we send further notice.
