Creative Writing Graduation Celebration

Creative Writing is happy to announce our Creative Writing Graduation Celebration! 

The event will be held on Friday May 22nd at 4 p.m. in lecture hall HUM 133, with doors opening at 3:30 p.m., followed by a reception in HUM 587. 

Graduating students will be offered a ticket link, when one is available, and may reserve up to 8 tickets, including themselves. Formal regalia (robes and caps) are not required for the department celebration, but you are welcome to wear them if you have them! Please wear whatever you feel comfortable in. 

Our event will feature an introduction from our department chairperson, followed by speakers, our Graduate Distinguished Student award winners and undergraduate achievement award winner. At that time, students will have their name called and will walk across the stage to receive an informal certificate of graduation from a faculty member.
