    Saffron Stain
    by Ferdos Heidari
    Directed by Hasti Jafari

Is it worth it to leave home with a fragile hope in search for a new possibility in an unknown land? Saffron Stain follows Avat, a woman in her late twenties, as she immigrates to the US from Iran with her seven-year-old daughter, Bahar, in search of a better life. Avat must navigate the complexities of identity and cultural assimilation in her new home, and grapple with the challenges of surviving as a single mother and an immigrant. Through moments of heartache, humor, and revelation, the play invites audiences to bear witness to Avat's journey as she confronts her past and forges a path forward.
