The group Stop AAPI Hate has documented nearly 3,800 incidents of anti-Asian hate during the pandemic. Activists say the violence isn't new, but it escalated after Donald Trump's racist rhetoric about COVID. What will it take to stop these attacks, what actions are communities calling for, and what historical context do we need to know?
